Simple Rules Create Complexity

The natural world is a complex place, with many moving parts that all come together to create the environment we perceive. The best evidence we can find supports the idea that simple rules create the vast complexity we see on a daily basis.

Movement is a complex topic. It has a number of variables that impact the outcome, some of which we can track and interpret, others of which we cannot. At the heart of movement are simple rules, these rules compound and eventually lead to the complexity of motion as a whole.

There are a number of explanations of how human movement is accomplished. Like all other forms of information today, it can become challenging to distill the information down into something useful.

If you are a student, pick a topic and zoom in, really dig deep, then zoom back out and put together a coherent picture before moving on to the next subject. As a consumer, do your homework and find the providers that can concentrate on their work and create a consilient picture for you, one that helps you get where you want to be.
